This 2 day training is specifically for patrol personnel who are in uniform in marked vehicles. The training covers everything an officer needs to know in order to start making narcotics arrests. This is NOT just awareness training; this is an operations level course. Several specific techniques are discussed and demonstrated in detail, which the officer can begin to use on the street immediately. This course focuses on staying within the boundaries of New Jersey search and seizure regulations. The instructor has developed this class utilizing everything he has learned over the last ten years of service, nine of which have been while utilizing a patrol vehicle video / audio recording system. The use of a video system is encouraged to protect the officers from false accusation as well as case evidence.
