Course Description: Communication is constant in Police work. 70% is comprised of non-verbal communication, however this course will focus on the remaining 30%. This course will focus on what is being said and why, and how we can professionally deal with verbally combative subjects. This information packed course concentrates on de-escalation strategies, listening devices, Officer safety procedures, pre-indicators of violence and field effectiveness to avoid frivolous lawsuits and complaints on Officers.
