Initial Law Enforcement Response to Suicide Bombing Attacks (ILERSBA)

The Richard Stockton College of NJ Police Department in conjunction with the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, Middle Atlantic Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network (MAGLOCLEN), and U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey, will be sponsoring a training entitled, “Initial Law Enforcement Response to Suicide Bombing Attacks (ILERSBA)” on Friday, June 17, 2011. The workshop will be held from 9:00 am – 4: 00 pm at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Alton Auditorium, 101 Vera King Farris Dr, Galloway, NJ 08205. Presented by the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center of New Mexico Tech, this training is provided at no cost to your agency. This training is a Department of Homeland Security certified and sponsored initiative designed to provide front line law enforcement officers with the skills and knowledge to effectively interdict and respond to an imminent person-borne suicide bombing attack or an attack involving a vehicle-borne IED. Effective response to a suicide bombing attack requires a multitude of immediate decisions on the part of law enforcement officers. These decisions include safety and legal considerations. ILERSBA is intended to meet those needs and deals specifically with immediate decisions and actions in face to face encounters of person-borne and vehicle-borne IED attacks. Pre-registration is required no later than June 10, 2011. For your convenience a registration link is provided and is the only method of registration for this workshop. Please hit the Done button at the bottom of the link page upon completion. REGISTRATION: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KQNN7LC Seating for this training is strictly limited; therefore, registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If you have any questions regarding this workshop please e-mail ohsptraining@ohsp.state.nj.us or call the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness at (609)584-4000, option #6.
