This course is designed for law enforcement personnel that will have the responsibility of teaching proper defensive tactics techniques. Upon successful completion of this course officers will be certified to instruct basic handcuffing, subject control, self defense and weapon retention, Manadock Defensive Tactics System (MDTS) & Manadock Expandable Baton (MEB). The course will also include training in Pressure Point Control Tactics, Sudden Custody Death, liability issues, and use of force reports. Class size: Limited to 20 students.

This is a hands-on course and all trainees must be in good physical condition. There will be a written and practical exams at the conclusion of this course.

Prerequisites: Minimum five years of law enforcement experience.

Equipment: All trainees must bring full duty belt, handcuffs and key, Expandable Baton & Holder.
