Created and presented by Larry E. Holtz, Esq., this two-day, comprehensive Criminal, Motor Vehicle, and Confession Law Seminar is uniquely designed to update patrol officers, detectives/investigators, supervisors, police trainers and state troopers in the recent developments and changes in critical aspects of the criminal and motor vehicle laws, as well as the case law governing police interrogations, confessions and Miranda. Mr. Holtz provides an valuable update of the new and amended laws that have changed Title 2C, the Criminal Justice Code, Title 39, the Motor Vehicle Code, and have impacted the procedures related to the questioning of adult and juvenile suspects. In addition to teaching the new statutes, new case-law interpretations are presented in context so that the officer's application of the law is consistent with the interpretations set forth by our courts. In addition to providing a comprehensive update of new material, the seminar will simultaneously serve as a refresher for those persons who have not attended a statutory or confessional law update for a number of years. All attendees will receive a comprehensive written manual containing the new and amended sections of the statutes, along with the new case-law interpretations of pertinent Code provisions, and Confession Law procedures.
