This course of instruction is designed to educate participants concerning document fraud with an emphasis on recognizing genuine and counterfeited identity documents. Instruction will also demonstrate the proper use of special devices (magnifiers & UV lights) to detect overt and covert security features. Each participant will receive a booklet containing various forms of identification such as: NJ driver license, out of state DL’s, green cards, passports, social security cards and International driver licenses. This course is designed for 7 hours and involves various hands-on exercises using genuine and counterfeit documents. Also a 1 hours block of instruction on the appropriate charges will be given by representatives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and Attorney’s General Office.
