Plein Air Event Canceled for October 14; Submissions to be Accepted for November Exhibit

The Plein Air event for artists and photographers scheduled for Saturday, October 14 at the Atlantic County Park System has been canceled due to the forecast for inclement weather this weekend.

However, individuals may submit artwork and photographs taken within the park system within the past year for display in an exhibit to be held November 9 – December 1 at the Atlantic Cape Community College gallery in Mays Landing. The entrance fee is $20 for up to two submissions. All framed artwork and photography will be accepted at the Warren E. Fox Nature in the Atlantic County Park, 109 Rt. 50, Estell Manor, on Saturday, November 4 between 9 am and 4 pm.

Those who cannot drop off submissions on November 4 may call Cathie at (609) 576-2388 to make alternate arrangements.

Children, ages 7-12, who would like to participate in the Kids Plein Air activity may do so on Saturday, October 21, 10-12 noon. There is a $10 entrance fee and pre-registration is required at atlcofriendsofthe park@gmail.com
