Live Voting Machine Demo for Individuals with Disabilities - October 20

A representative from the Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections Office will be visiting the Lion’s Center for the Blind to provide a live voting machine demonstration with speech component for individuals with disabilities on Tuesday, October 20 at 10:30 AM to 12 noon. The center is located at 100 Crestview Avenue in Absecon.

While the November 3, 2020 general election is being conducted primarily with vote-by-mail ballots, voters with disabilities that prevent them from voting by paper ballot will have access to an assistive voting device at their designated polling site and at all polling locations throughout the state, according to the New Jersey Division of Elections.

Those who would like to attend the live voting machine demonstration will have their temperatures taken upon arrival. Face coverings and social distancing will be required and indoor capacity will be restricted to 25%, as per current state guidelines to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
