No Covid-19 Deaths for Third Day with Only 16 New Positives

Atlantic County health officials reported no new deaths related to Covid-19 for the third in as many days. They did confirm 16 more positive tests among six men, ages 18-62 and 10 women, ages 18-83.
 
Today’s new confirmations include four residents from Linwood, three each from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township, two each from Absecon and Pleasantville, and one each from Egg Harbor City and Galloway.
 
To date, Atlantic County has confirmed 2,482 positive tests for Covid-19 and 170 deaths. Thirty-seven additional residents have been cleared as recovered for a countywide total of 1,179.
 
Atlantic County will continue its Covid-19 testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription on Tuesday, June 16 in Northfield behind the county’s public works yard at Route 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments are available 9 AM – 11:30 AM and can be made online at www.aclink.org.
