UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.

Saturday, March 28th 8 AM-4 PM While supplies last. Limited seedlings available.
Help to replant communities damaged by Superstorm Sandy with free tree seedlings! Seedlings planted today will create forests for our future.
All seedlings will be native to the coastal habitat of our area and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Instructions on care and planting will be provided along with one bundle (5 tree seedlings) per household.
If you would like to participate, it is suggested that you call ahead to confirm seedling availability the day of the event, especially if you are driving from a distance. However, you cannot call to reserve a bundle.
