Currently in effect on county roadways
UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.

County Executive Dennis Levinson and Pleasantville Mayor Jesse L. Tweedle will be honored as Crime Stoppers of the Year by the Atlantic County Crime Stopers Foundation at the organization's annual fundraising dinner.
Crime Stoppers of Atlantic County is a non-profit organization that offers cash rewards for anonymous tips leading to the arrest and indictment of persons involved in committing a crime.
