TRAFFIC ADVISORIES Currently in effect on county roadways
Pitney Road, Absecon/Galloway
On Thursday, December 3 through Monday, December 7, a one lane detour will remain in effect in the northbound lane of Pitney Road between Wyoming Avenue in Absecon and Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway, 7:30 AM – 5 PM, weather permitting, for work by Atlantic City Electric. The southbound lane will remain open to traffic.
Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Brewster Road, Buena Borough
Beginning Thursday, December 3 and continuing around the clock for one week, weather permitting, a detour will be in effect on Brewster Road (CR672) between Summer Avenue (CR682) and Forest Grove Road near Minotola in Buena Borough for county stormwater drainage improvements.
Various roads will serve as the detour route. Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Businesses along Brewster Road will remain open, unless otherwise impacted by COVID-19 closures.
Mill Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Monday, November 30 through Sunday December 6, a detour will be in effect 24 hours a day in the eastbound lane of Mill Road in Egg Harbor Township, between Fire Road and Old Zion Road, for work by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. The westbound lane will remain open to traffic.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
Cotton Mill Bridge, Mays Landing
Beginning Monday, March 23, Cotton Mill Bridge in Mays Landing will be closed to all traffic until further notice for a full bridge replacement. Route 40/50 will serve as the detour route. Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Businesses on Main Street and Mill Street will remain open, unless otherwise impacted by COVID-19 closures.

Atlantic County recognized 22 U.S. military veterans and current residents of the Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Veterans Day. Honorees represented the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and included former military officers, a paratrooper and a combat photographer.
