A seminar providing an overview of human trafficking and the huge problem it presents to law enforcement in today's society. Topics to be covered include: (1) issues of identifying this crime. Topics include: 1) human trafficking as a problem in the United States today (2) identifying victims of Human Trafficking; (3) investigating human trafficking; (4) the sex trafficking victims; 5) the forced laborer victim;(6) other types of victims; (7) federal laws concerning human trafficking; (8) other crimes found where trafficking is present; (9) how law enforcement help the victims when found; 10) immigration issues during investigation; and (11) resources for law enforcement. $295
