The NJ Office of Homeland Security & Prepardness (OHSP) with the Atlantic County Police Training Center will sponsor a "IED Search Procedures" Workshop to be presented by the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention.
This workshop improves participants' knowledge of IED awareness, prevention measures, and planning protocols by outlining specific search techniques that reduce vulnerability an mitigate the risk of terrorist IED attack.
The course culminates in a practical application of skill during which participants demonstrate these search techniques while working as a team.
The course is designed for first responders (LE, Fire & EMS) as well as executive and frontline personnel along with those who are responsible for bomb threat and management planning and response.
