This one-day program is appropriate for all supervisors, managers, law enforcement officers, public safety personnel and chaplains.
Attendees will be briefed as to the cause, effect, signs and symptoms of the most common and current law enforcement stress, especially critical incident / traumatic stress. Attendees will be introduced to, or reminded of practical responses and stress management strategies for peers, professionals, managers and leaders. Law Enforcement stress management, resources and crisis leadership approaches will be discussed in a preventative posture, during a crisis and afterwards, especially regarding Officer Involved Shooting, use of deadly force and serious injury incidents, all from a factual, anecdotal and motivational perspective.
Class size is limited by available classroom space. The dress code is Uniform or casual business attire.
