Local scout troops in cooperation with Atlantic County Parks staff will honor the memories of our fallen veterans and their spouses who are buried in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery with the placement of flags on their grave sites in preparation for the July Fourth holiday.
The scouts are scheduled to perform this service on Wednesday, June 27 at 4 PM, weather permitting. (Rain Date: Thursday, June 28)
The Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery is located with the county park in Estell Manor at 109 Route 50.
Scouts who perform this service on two of three occasions throughout the year (Memorial Day, July Fourth and Veterans Day) will be eligible to receive the Atlantic County Patriotism Patch in recognition of their efforts.
