Currently in effect on county roadways
UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.

Join Allen Jackson, Cheryl Osolinski, and Jim Watson in a brief discussion about the biology of bluebirds and the importance of proper management. The discussion will be followed by a nest check of the bluebird trail at Atlantic County Park, in Estell Manor. We hope to show a variety of nest stages of bluebirds, including eggs, young (different ages) and maybe have a box to band chicks.
Please dress for the weather.
