Traffic Advisories for March 4 & 5, Galloway and Absecon
Moss Mill Road, Galloway Township
On Thursday, March 4and Friday, March 5, a one lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect along Moss Mill Road in Galloway Township at Morse Mill stream, (between 7 AM – 3:30 PM, weather permitting, for guide rail replacement work.Traffic directors will be on site to assist. Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Delilah Road On-ramp at the White Horse Pike, Absecon
On Thursday, March 4and Friday, March 5, a shoulder closure will be in effect along the Delilah Road westbound on-ramp at the White Horse Pike in Absecon, 7 AM – 3:30 PM, weather permitting, for guide rail replacement work.Traffic directors will be on site to assist. Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.

EHT Traffic Advisories for work by the NJ Turnpike Authority
Mill Road
On Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7, a detour will be in place 24 hours a day in the eastbound lane of Mill Road, between Fire Road and Old Zion Road.
Zion Road
On Monday March 1, an alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect on Zion Road, between Bargaintown Road and Old Zion Road, 7 AM – 3 PM, weather permitting.
Ocean Heights Avenue
On Wednesday, March 3, an alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect onOcean Heights Avenue, between Steelmanville Road and Blackman Road, 7 AM – 3 PM, weather permitting.
UPDATE - New York Avenue Bridge, Hamilton Township
After an inspection and evaluation, the New York Avenue bridge over Gravelly Run in Hamilton Township, between Reega Avenue and Route 40, will remain closed to traffic until further notice.
The damage assessment by an engineering underwater dive team revealed extensive damage to the superstructure of the bridge, requiring its closure.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and plan travel time accordingly.
Chestnut Neck Road & Smithville-Chestnut Neck Road - Port Republic
Effective February 22, intermittent lane or road closures may be in effect over the next 1-2 weeks as follows for work by Atlantic City Electric.
Smithville Chestnut Neck Road- Work to continue for approximately 7 days for distribution work.
Chestnut Neck Road- Work to continue for 15 days for both highline and distribution work.
Motorists may experience delays and should plan travel time accordingly. Additional delays may be incurred due to inclement weather.
West End/Wellington Avenue, Atlantic City
Beginning on or about Tuesday, February 23 and continuing for one week, a lane shift traffic pattern will be in effect in the northbound lane of West End/Wellington Avenue in Atlantic City, between Harrisburg and Trenton avenues, 7 AM – 5 PM, weather permitting, for storm sewer work.
Traffic directors will be on site to assist. Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Cotton Mill Bridge, Mays Landing
Beginning Monday, March 23, Cotton Mill Bridge in Mays Landing will be closed to all traffic until further notice for a full bridge replacement. Route 40/50 will serve as the detour route. Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Businesses on Main Street and Mill Street will remain open, unless otherwise impacted by COVID-19 closures.
