Cancer and Chronic Illness

The Atlantic County Division of Public Health conducts risk assessments and educational programs for the prevention and early detection of cancer and heart and circulatory diseases.

Men’s Health Clinic

Men’s Health Services offer screening, risk assessment and education for prostate cancer for Atlantic County residents age 40 and over. The following services are offered:  PSA testing, Digital Rectal Exam, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Colorectal and Diabetes screenings as well as Health Counseling.

Women’s Health Clinic

Women’s Health Services offer screening, risk assessment and education for breast and cervical cancer for Atlantic County residents age 18 and over.  The following services are offered: Pap Smear, Pelvic Exam, Breast Exam, Mammogram Referral, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Colorectal screening, as well as Health Counseling.

Both Men's and Women's clinics are free for residents with no health insurance.  If you have health insurance with high deductibles and/or low reimbursement payments, please call us for further information.
