This course is intended to appeal to the experienced police officer, who is serving as, or intends to serve as a training officer for his or her respective agency or academy. This is the first step in a police officer's quest to become a NJ Police Training Commission Certified Instructor. This is a five-day course curriculum and only those aspiring to become instructors should apply. Attendance and active participation are mandatory for this class. Assignments will be given daily, including homework. Attendees are required to deliver two presentations where research is necessary. Class emphasizes public speaking, active involvement and interaction with classmates and instructors, PowerPoint Presentations, lesson planning and preparation. Profession dress or Class A uniforms required. Class size is limited to 16 students.

Course will be held at Atlantic Cape Community College, Building T  0900-1700.
