We require registration for our programs and reservations for our exclusive use areas.
The staff of the Atlantic County Division of Parks and Recreation offers environmental and recreational programs to the general public and interested groups. Most programs are held at the Estell Manor Park located on Route 50, four miles south of Mays Landing, unless otherwise noted. Registration is necessary and may be taken over the phone if the program does not require a fee. Call (609) 625-1897 between 8am-4pm. We are open seven days a week. All programs require advanced registration by all participants. If a program fills, a waiting list is maintained so that any cancellations may be filled. Please, if you cannot make it to a program for which you've registered, call us to let us know. Your call will enable us to fill your spot with others from the waiting list. For programs requiring a fee, please use the form at the end of this page. All fees must be paid by check or money order payable to "Treasurer, Atlantic County", unless noted.
Exclusive use reservations are taken for pavilions, gazebos, other structures, and camping areas only. This includes daily rental of the structure only. It does not include bathrooms or playground facilities. Currently, these areas include the Gazebo at Gaskill Park, the shelter area at Oscar E. McClinton Jr., Waterfront Park, the Gazebo at Lake Lenape Park, the Pavilions A, B and C, and camping at Estell Manor Park, camping at Lake Lenape, and camping at Acagisca.
If you wish to reserve a facility you must complete and sign a reservation request form or camping permit and pay the appropriate fee. This must be done online or in person only. We cannot process a reservation over the phone. The signature of the contact person signifies that they've read the Park Rules and Regulations and agree to abide by them. All reservations will be considered tentative until signed request form and payment are received and are confirmed by park staff. For large group reservations, insurance may be required.
Reservations for all the above listed facilities are processed through our Lake Lenape Reservation Office, 6303 Old Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
Call (609) 625-8219 for further information and availability.
The Division of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any program due to unforeseen problems or inclement weather. All pre-registered participants will be notified should this occur, if their phone numbers are included on the registration form.
If you must cancel a reservation, you must send us notification, in writing, of your relinquishment in order to receive a refund 14 days before the event.
If you notify us, in writing, 7 days before your event, you may receive a reservation extension, which allows you to use the fee paid toward another date within a year of the original reservation date.
