Ocean Heights Avenue, Linwood and Somers Point
Beginning Monday, July 29 and continuing for approximately five weeks, a traffic detour will be in effect on Ocean Heights Avenue between Route 9 and Shore Road on the border of Somers Point and Linwood, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting, for work by the New Jersey American Water Company. In the event of inclement weather, work may also occur on Friday.
Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Local residents will have access to their properties.
