Children ages pre-k to 6th grade will have two opportunities to learn about and meet local sea life when the Wetlands Institute visits the Warren E. Fox Nature at the Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor.
“Sea Creatures with Amazing Features” will be the topic on Saturday, November 16 at 11 AM when children will get hands-on time with sea stars, sea urchins, hermit crabs, spider crabs, green crabs, clams, sea snails and a horseshoe crab and learn about their habitats, food chains and anatomy.
“Traveling Turtles” will be presented on Saturday, December 14 at 11 AM and feature adult terrapins and hatchlings. Participants will explore turtle artifacts, anatomy, behaviors, life cycles, adaptations and more.

The Nature Center is located at 109 Route 50 South in Estell Manor.
