NJDOT Advisory - Rt. 30 Bridge over Beach Thorofare, Absecon & Atlantic City

The following information was provided by the New Jersey Department of Transportation

Beginning Monday, February 26 through Friday, March 1, evening and overnight work by the NJ Department of Transportation is tentatively scheduled on the Rt. 30 Bridge over Beach Thorofare, 9 pm to 5 am. For the contractor to safely access the work area, traffic will be stopped in both directions for 30 minutes every hour.

Motorists should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. State Police will be on site to assist.

UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township

On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.

Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township

Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.
