Currently in effect on county roadways
UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.
Free Philadelphia Historical Tour

Location: Meet at 1909 New Road, Northfield. Trip is to Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia Mint, Independence Hall)
Who: Any Atlantic County Veteran. Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend as well. When and Where: On Saturday November 16th, vans will depart from 1909 New Road, Northfield (Atlantic County Community Based Outpatient Clinic) at 9:00am and return at 2:00pm. A catered lunch from Wings and Wishes will be provided at the CBOC at 2:00pm. What: Tour of the Philadelphia Mint from 10:00am – 11:00am. Tour of the Liberty Bell Center and Independence Visitor Center from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Tour Independence Hall and Congress Hall from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Why: Enjoy a day with local veterans and their families while touring historical sites.
