Currently in effect on county roadways
UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.
Lake Lenape Triathlon

The full Lake Lenape Triathlon (swim, bike, run) will be held 7-11 AM as a fundraiser for the Mays Landing Athletic Association. The swimmers will start at Lenape East and finish at Lenape West. The run will take place on the park trail followed by the bike portion of the race onto Route 559.
