Master Plan Review

Please take notice that the Atlantic County Planning Advisory Board will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments regarding adoption of the proposed Atlantic County Master Plan, Open Space and Recreation Plan, and Farmland Preservation Plan.  The hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 6:00pm at the Anthony “Tony” Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. 

Copies of the proposed Master Plan and related documents may be examined at the offices of the Atlantic County Department of Regional Planning and Development, U.S. Route 9 and Dolphin Avenue, P.O. Box 719, Northfield, NJ 08225.   Additionally, the documents may also be examined at each branch of the Atlantic County Library or from the box above.  Copies of all three documents have also been forwarded to the Municipal Clerk and Planning Board Secretary of each municipality within Atlantic County.

Interested persons may appear at the hearing and may offer testimony or written comments.  Any person offering written comments shall submit a copy of the same to the Atlantic County Department of Regional Planning and Development, Attention: Robert B. Lindaw Jr. PP, AICP, Assistant Planning Director, U.S. Route 9 and Dolphin Avenue, P.O. Box 719, Northfield, NJ 08225 or via email at planning@aclink.org.  Comments will be accepted for consideration by the Atlantic County Planning Advisory Board until October 13, 2017.  The Master Plan and related documents may thereafter be approved, modified or denied by the Board without further notice.  To request a reasonable accommodation of a disability, contact Robert Lindaw at (609) 645-5898 [TTY 1-800-852-7899] at least two (2) weeks prior to the event so arrangements can be made.
