TRAFFIC ADVISORIES Currently in effect on county roadways
Fire Road Bridge Overpass, Egg Harbor Township (Evening and Overnight Work)
Beginning Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21, motorists may encounter periodic lane reductions and stop and go traffic during the evening and overnight hours, 8 PM – 5 AM, on the Fire Road Bridge over the Atlantic City Expressway south of Doughty Road, for repair work by the South Jersey Transportation Authority as a result of damages from an August tractor trailer accident.
Overnight motorists may encounter minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Washington Avenue, Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Township
Beginning Wednesday, December 19 through Friday, December 21, a detour will be in place for westbound motorists on Washington Avenue, between Rt. 9 in Pleasantville and Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, 6:30 AM – 7 PM, weather permitting, for county road work.
Westbound motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.

The award honoree was Rev. Collins A. Days, Sr., pastor of Second Baptist Church in Atlantic City. The keynote address was given by Rev. Jevon Caldwell-Gross, senior pastor of the Hamilton Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlantic City.
