Pleasantville Intersection Improvements to Begin October 2

Beginning Monday, October 2, periodic detours will be in effect at varying times at the intersection of Main Street and Washington Avenue in Pleasantville for county improvements. Construction hours will be 7 AM – 3 :30 PM, Monday through Friday.
 
The project will include the replacement of traffic signal equipment, ADA upgrades, the installation of a right turn lane on eastbound Washington Avenue and the repaving of the intersection. Work is expected to be completed within 90 days.
 
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours and plan travel time accordingly or seek alternate routes.
