Storm Update - 6:30 AM

Atlantic County offices are closed today, January 4, due to a powerful winter storm. This includes all county library branches and senior centers.

County public works crews treated county roadways yesterday in anticipation of this storm and will continue to salt and plow throughout the day.

The public should avoid travel unless absolutely necessary as conditions will continue to deteriorate and blowing and drifting snow will result in poor visibility and white out conditions.

Residents who experience a life-threatening emergency should call 9-1-1. Non-life threatening emergencies can be reported to municipal offices of emergency management. Contact numbers are available online at ReadyAtlantic.org and in the phone book.
