Atlantic County Master Plan Now Available for Public Review

The public is invited to review the proposed Atlantic County Master Plan, Open Space and Recreation Plan, and Farmland Preservation Plan which are now available on the county’s web site at www.aclink.org/planning, at county library branches and local municipal offices.
 

The plans provide guidance for major countywide initiatives affecting the continued growth and development of Atlantic County. They were prepared by Heyer Gruel and Associates which held a public information session last year to obtain input and suggestions from residents in preparing the plans.

A public hearing will be held on September 27 at 6 PM at the Anthony “Tony” Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township at which time residents may present testimony. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Robert B. Lindaw, Assistant Planning Director, PO Box 719, Northfield, NJ 08225 or via email to planning@aclink.org.

The Atlantic County Planning Advisory Board will accept comments through October 13, 2017. The plans may then be approved, modified or denied by the board without further notice.
