June is men’s health month – a time to celebrate fathers, husbands, sons and all the other men in our lives by encouraging early detection and treatment of preventable health problems among men.
The Atlantic County Division of Public Health will participate in the celebration by providing free screenings at its men’s health clinics. Adult males, 18 years and older who are uninsured or have insurance with high deductibles and/or low reimbursement payments may receive screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar as well as an age-appropriate colorectal exam and prostate specific antigen.
Clinics will be held as follows:
Wednesday, June 14
10 AM to 1 PM
310 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton
Friday, June 23
9 AM to 12 PM
201 S. Shore Road, Northfield
To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call (609) 645-5933.
