TRAFFIC ADVISORIES Currently in effect on county roadways
Mill Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning Wednesday, December 13 and continuing for approximately one week, weather permitting, an alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect on Mill Road in Egg Harbor Township between Oakland Avenue and St. Clair Boulevard, 7 AM to 4 PM, for county road work.
Police will be on site to assist motorists but delays are expected. Motorists should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
West End / Wellington Avenue, Atlantic City & Ventnor
Until further notice, Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 7 PM, lane shift traffic patterns will be in effect, weather permitting, and may cause delays on West End / Wellington Avenue between the Black Horse Pike in Atlantic City and Dorset Avenue in Ventnor for ongoing county road improvements.
Motorists should plan travel time accordingly or seek alternate routes.
Mill Road, Absecon
Beginning Monday, October 2, Mill Road in Absecon will be closed to traffic between the White Horse Pike and Wescoat Road, 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, for county road and bridge improvements.
The roadway construction will extend from the railroad overpass to just north of Stewart Lane and include drainage installation, utility replacement, sidewalk repairs and road resurfacing.
The bridge refurbishment will extend from just south of Stewart Lane to Wescoat Road and include superstructure repair and reinforcement, abutment repair, installation of new guide rail, and reinforcement of embankment.
The Mill Road detour is expected to remain in effect for approximately three months. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours or seek alternate routes. Police will be on site to assist.
Pleasantville Intersection Improvements to Begin October 2
Beginning Monday, October 2, periodic detours will be in effect at varying times at the intersection of Main Street and Washington Avenue in Pleasantville for county improvements. Construction hours will be 7 AM – 3 :30 PM, Monday through Friday.
The project will include the replacement of traffic signal equipment, ADA upgrades, the installation of a right turn lane on eastbound Washington Avenue and the repaving of the intersection. Work is expected to be completed within 90 days.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours and plan travel time accordingly or seek alternate routes.
